The coffee bushes reach, on average, between 5 and 6 feet tall (Arabica). The first flowers appear around three years of life, and its production takes place in the same period and lasts for up to 25 years. Harvesting is done with the ripe fruit, called cherries. Then the pulp and rind are extracted from the fruit, using only the crude coffee (beans).
